Michan Rhodes
Owner/Sales

Michan Rhodes began showing a passion for design at age 7. From wallpapering her parents’ bedroom to rearranging furniture in the home she grew up in, the drive to design followed her throughout her life.

Michan moved to Seattle from California with her husband Jerry Miller, lead guitarist of San Francisco’s ‘60s band, Moby Grape in 1987. The band’s drummer, Don Stevenson, introduced Michan to the window industry and suggested she try her hand as a salesman at the company he worked with. After three months of training she fell in love with the industry and worked for several window companies over the next 10 years.

Michan aspired to more, wanting to personally implement the design and quality that initially drew her to the profession and motivated her to pursue a career in the industry. In 1997 Michan created her own company offering the professionalism and quality that she lived for, naming it Keystone Windows & Doors after the street she lived on in Green Lake. From there, Michan opened her first showroom on 4th Avenue South, taking an old warehouse and remodeling it to create a friendly, comfortable and informative place for homeowners and builders to visit and view products.

Because of the company’s great reputation, she can ensure longevity with her employees – from her sales team to her installers. Over 90 percent of Keystone’s business is referred due to their great reputation and professional work.
