EPA Lead Safety
Keystone complies with all lead-based paint safety rules and regulations.Since April 22, 2010 federal law has required that contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb more than six square feet of paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must be certified and trained to follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.Download the Lead Safety Brochure.
Failure to comply with these new rules and regulations on lead based paint safety practices can result in fines of $32,500 per violation, per day.
Keystone Windows & Doors is fully compliant with the new lead based paint safety rules and regulations and has received the necessary certifications. All of Keystone’s lead installers have received certification.
American Architectural Manufacturers Association Certified Installations
All Keystone Windows & Doors installers are AAMA Certified.
Keystone uses AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association) certified methods for installing our insulated window products. AAMA sets the standards for resistance to air and water leakage and wind pressure in the replacement window and door industry. In order for a window or door to maintain its AAMA certification, it must be installed properly.
